Our Journey from Tree
to Store

At Coco Carib, we honor the natural lifecycle of the Brazilian Green Dwarf coconut with a process that respects both the environment and the innate purity of our product. Beginning with the careful selection of coconuts at their peak, we employ traditional harvesting techniques that ensure only the finest coconuts make their journey from our groves to your glass. Our dedicated team meticulously cleans and prepares each coconut, using sustainable practices every step of the way to preserve the freshness and vitality that nature intended.

Selecting Nature's Best

We begin our process with the meticulous selection of young Brazilian Green Dwarf coconuts, harvested precisely between 6 to 7 months to ensure optimal sweetness and hydration. Our skilled harvesters use traditional methods to hand-pick each coconut, focusing on the perfect balance of size, color, and age.

The Art of De-Husking

Once harvested, our coconuts undergo a gentle de-husking process. This critical step is performed with care to preserve the coconut's integrity, starting with a precise cut into the husk, followed by skilled peeling to reveal the fresh coconut inside.

Ensuring Every Sip is Pure

Post-de-husking, each coconut is carefully washed to remove impurities. This step includes an initial rinse followed by a sanitizing bath using food-grade solutions to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

The Final Touch: Anti-Browning

To maintain the fresh appearance of our coconuts, we employ an anti-browning treatment. This involves immersing the coconuts in a sodium bisulfite solution, followed by air drying to lock in their pristine condition until they reach your hands.
